Au nom du Consulat Général de la République d’Haïti à Chicago et de toute la communauté haïtienne de l’Illinois, je vous salue tous cordialement.

Notre présence ici aujourd’hui est un grand signe de solidarité. Elle constitue l’une des nombreuses étapes que nous franchirons jusqu'à l’élection du Sénateur Kwame Raoul. Le Sénateur Raoul est notre fils, notre frère, notre ami à tous. Nous sommes déjà fiers de lui. Demain, sa voix parlera bien fort pour nous.

Personnellement, je suis ravi d’être ici à Chicago juste au moment où le Sénateur Kwame Raoul nous donne à tous une raison d’être fiers, très fiers et d’avoir de l’espoir, beaucoup d’espoir.

Je remercie les organisateurs de cette activité pour leur invitation et vous invite tous, frères et sœurs, à appuyer notre Sénateur Kwame Raoul jusqu’à la victoire.

My dear friends,

I greet you warmly on behalf of the Consulate General of Haiti in Chicago and the Haitian community in Illinois.

The solidarity we are showing to Senator Kwame Raoul today has to be one of the many steps that will lead to his election. Senator Raoul is our friend, our brother, our son. Tomorrow, his voice will be ours.

I am happy to be here in Chicago at this moment, this proud moment, this hopeful moment.

I thank the organizers for their invitation and urge you to walk with our brother all the way to victory.
